- Location: Northern Heights, Bharucha Road, Dahisar East, Mumbai, Maharashtra, 400068. (Latitude 19024’ N and Longitude 72086’ E).

3. WIND TUNNEL TEST


• Used to predict the wind loads and responses of a structure

• Done by RWDI Consulting Engineers (India) Pvt. Ltd, Trivandrum

• 1 : 400 scale model

• 2.4m x 1.8m wind tunnel

• Model surrounding details around 460 m radius

• 50 years return period

4.OBSERVATIONS


70% of the code loads stipulated as a minimum as per IS 16700: 2017

4.REQUIREMENT OF TIE BEAMS


•To control torsional effects

6.FOUNDATION SIZE WORKOUT


•Based on soil data inputs & architectural inputs, initial footing analysis done with 2.5m, 2.75m & 3m footing depth and following conclusion made on the basis of initial analytical observations.


•As per client’s decision 2.75m depth was finalized.

7. EXCAVATION


•SBC 200 T/m2

•Hard bed rock encountered at lower depth. No shoring was required

•Limited retaining wall size to 350 mm instead of heavy sizes
